Greetings from The Miss Teen Ohio® International Competition

CONGRATULATIONS! You have taken the first step toward the Miss Teen International crown. We are certain you will have many questions about the Competition and we will endeavor to answer as many of them as possible. Please read all the information and feel free to call Competition Headquarters if you have any questions.

What will be required of you, should you win?

As little or as much as you want. We understand that you have families, we will limit the events to times that will not effect your regular working and family schedules. We ask that you spend a minimum of 6 appearances per year at charitable activities of which you will promote the title. This can include Clothing or Food Drives Banquets and Dinners, and Fund Raising Events. In addition, you will be allowed to promote yourself for Grand Openings, Celebrations and Festivals, Paradesand, of course, modeling. The idea is to promote successful teen life and the importance of family values throughout the State. Furthermore, you will be required to attend the International Finals (August 2003) where you will compete with other state winners for the title of Miss Teen International.

Competition Policies & Delegate Requirements:

  • Delegate must be minimum 13 years of age and
    maximum of 19 years of age (as of July 1, 2003).
  • A resident of the state of Ohio with a minimum of 6 (six) months
    and a citizen of the United States.
  • Past winners from other Miss Teen Competition Systems may not participate in our Competition for a minimum of two (2) years from the time they receive their title in the other system.
  • Any woman wishing to compete in our Miss Teen Ohio State Competition, who has knowledge of a past or present participation in any nude event, press, or public event or activity that may infringe on the moral or ethical responsibility will not be accepted at any level. All contracts have a very clear morality clause, which must be adhered to by all.
  • All delegates are asked to arrive at events on time and
    participate in all scheduled activities.
  • All Delegates give permission to Bow Tech. Productions, Inc. to use any photo or likeness for promotional purposes.
  • Delegate holds harmless the Competition of any illness or injury incurred while attending the State Competition or during her reign.
  • Attempts to communicate with any or all of the judges before or during the Competition will result in disqualification.
  • The decision of the judges’ panel is final.
