              Susan 
              Botek

             Susan 
              is a woman of varied talents and exemplary accomplishments. She 
              Co-owns and operates her own  
              production company, Bow Tech. Productions, Inc., which  
              has produced shows in Northwest Ohio for Jerry Lewis,  
              Davy Jones from The Monkees and Ray Charles, along with a numerous 
              other talents. She started as a local director for the Miss Ohio 
              America system, and has been the state state director for Mrs. Ohio® 
              USA/International Competition since 1992. In 1996 Mrs. Botek made 
              her national directorial debut with the Beauties of America Competition. 
            Mrs. 
              Botek is no stranger to television and radio. Susan has been a co-host 
              for The Easter Seal Telethon since 1991, has served as guest co-host 
              for Easter Seal Telethon since 1991, has served as guest co-host 
              for "Toledo 11 - This Morning" and starred in television 
              commercials. She has appeared on all major network affiliates in 
              Northwest Ohio, speaking on subjects of breast cancer survival, 
              adoption and Competitionry. Susan is also a co-host for Town Talk 
               
              (a Saturday radio community talk show) 
            For 
              the past three years, Susan has been the Guest Speaker for "Check 
              It Out," a program that teaches high school junior and senior 
              women the importance of breast health and self breast exams. In 
              1993, Susan was named honorary chairperson for "The Winner's 
              Track," a 5K run and was given the "Award of Courage" 
              by the Northwest Ohio Unit of the American Cancer Society. In 1992 
              and 1998, they also named Susan their honorary Chairperson for Breast 
              Cancer Awareness Month. She represented them both in television 
              and radio commercials. 
            Governor 
              George Voinovich and three Toledo Mayors have recognized Susan for 
              her commitment to her community. Mrs. Botek and her committees have 
              raised well over ½ million dollars for Northwest Ohio charities. 
              In 1998 she was honored to Co-Chair the Toledo Mayoral Inaugural 
              Ball. Susan is a Lifetime Member of the Toledo Opera Guild, Hope 
              for Santa, The World Cup, Ft. Megs Business and Professional Women, 
              The Community Leadership Committee for Easter Seal Society of Northwest 
              Ohio and the steering committee for the Anne Grady Center's major 
              yearly fundraiser. At the young age of 29, Mrs. Botek was honored 
              as one of Toledo's Women of the Year by St. Vincent's Hospital Auxiliary. 
              In October of 1997 Susan was awarded a "Twenty Under 40 Leadership 
              Award" by The Toledo Jaycees & The Toledo Business Journal. 
              This award is given to twenty Northwest Ohioans under the age of 
              40 who have taken on leadership roles - in most cases several leadership 
              roles - at a young age. 
            Mrs. 
              Botek has held the Competition titles Mrs. Ohio® USA 1990, Beauties 
              of America 30's in 1995 and currently holds the title USA Petite 
              Woman. Susan and her husband of 14 years, Sam Botek Jr., reside 
              in Maumee with their 8-year old son, Mac.
